Naomi Pham QUALIFIED YOGA TEACHER, SOUND THERAPIST, REIKI MASTER

Naomi enjoys sharing the positive shifts that yoga, meditation and sound healing can bring to your everyday life.

In 2019, she experienced burnout from her 15+ years corporate career in finance. Yoga and meditation were pivotal in supporting her journey back to physical and mental health. They remain her key pillars for managing stress and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

The yogic and Daoist philosophies emphasise that living in harmony with the world invigorates the flow of energy within us.  She shares the practice of Yin Yoga as an opportunity for you to achieve physical and energetic equilibrium, in a supportive and calm environment.  You can further deepen your connection to body, mind and spirit by experiencing one of her sound bath meditations, Pause to Receive, which is offered regularly at the studio.

In 2019, Naomi completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Bali and continued with Yin Yoga Teacher Training lead by teachers, Bernie Clark and Diana Batts. She holds a Diploma of Integral Sound Healing and is a Reiki Master Teacher (Level III).  She is a registered practitioner and member of the International Institute for Complimentary Therapists (IICT) and Yoga Alliance.

Exploring nature, running, photography and playful time with her two young children are moments that also fill her cup.

What are the lessons you’ve learnt on your own yogic Pilgrimage?

Reflecting on a quote from Ram Dass, “I can do nothing for you but work on myself.  You can do nothing for me but work on yourself”.  When I started the pursuit to deeply understand and improve myself, the path wasn’t always beautiful or easy. In doing so with self-compassion, I’ve slowly overcome self-doubt, judgement and limiting beliefs that once held me back from finding a sense of inner peace and joy.  The most powerful gift that we can give to the world is to work on ourselves.
