Alana Butters Qualified Yoga Teacher
Alana is a certified yoga teacher with a strong foundation in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, complemented by a Level One Reiki certification. Her approach to teaching is centred on movement, breath, and energy work, creating classes that support both physical and emotional well-being. With a background in dance and performance, Alana completed a diploma in Speech and Drama, which sparked her passion for self-expression and teaching. While studying at university, she worked with children, discovering the joy of sharing knowledge in a playful and engaging way. She began practising yoga in 2010 and immediately connected with its ability to cultivate strength, balance, and inner peace.
Alana believes in yoga as a powerful tool for transformation, particularly in its impact on mental health and emotional resilience. Yoga has made an incredible impact on her own psyche, inspiring her to help others find balance, emotional resilience and inner peace. Her teaching style is warm and supportive, inviting students to explore movement and stillness in a way that feels good for their body and mind. Alana’s classes are designed to leave you feeling both uplifted and grounded. Born and raised in Brisbane, she finds joy in the vibrant community and lifestyle that her hometown offers. She is happiest at the beach, surrounded by family and friends or when practising yoga.
