A traditional British meal consisting of roasted meat, roast potatoes and accompaniments such as Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, gravy and mint sauce. Not to be confused with Pilgrim’s Sunday Roast; a strong vinyasa flow dished up to the Pilgrim Family on a Sunday morning. Menu of roasted Pilgrims, sweat, immersive bass, sparkling water and post-roast outdoor showers. Sundays at Pilgrim are always a bit special. From June, Yuko takes the Sunday Roast baton from Paola. It is well known that a teacher can only survive teaching Sunday Roast for up to one year. Yuko is no stranger to heat having managed and taught at Japan's leading hot yoga institution, Lava Hot Yoga, for many years prior to joining Pilgrim. Join Yuko for a slow and thoroughly sweaty Sunday Roast.

Reboot & Restore (Unheated Yin Restorative Yoga at a Sunday afternoon pace)

Reboot & Restore combines principles and practices of both Yin and Restorative Yoga. During this practice as you meet the intensity of a stretch, things may even seem a little stimulating in the moment but by the end of practice they both help to foster a deep, pervading sense of calm and spaciousness. This class starts with Yin postures to open up tighter areas so the body can relax even more deeply in Restorative poses. The benefits of this practice are profound and include increased mobility and flexibility, targeting deep into connective tissue (fascia). This class will take you to an appropriate edge in each pose with time being more important than intensity. The practice is a commitment to stillness, allowing the chi (energy or prana) to pool into connective tissue structures rather than muscles. Props such as blocks, bolsters and yoga straps are used to maximise relaxation of the body and assist in achieving a posture that is appropriate and sustainable for the time period allocated to it. 
This class is done in a quiet, low light environment to prevent external stimulation. Once a month we add the soothing sounds of live music and create Reboot & Restore Live - Grand Mother is a ritual ensemble featuring critically acclaimed songwriter/composers Jackie Marshall and Robert Davidson; founding a modern musical expression of ancient modes of connection to Earth Mother. The ensemble members combine their collective Western Classical and Jazz Improvisational academic backgrounds with contemporary meditation and sound healing/well-being practices to create an intuitive sound immersion experience, featuring voice, Crystal Tones singing bowl alchemies, alternatively tuned guitars and upright bass. When you feel good everything flows. Breath work, mindful movement and deep bass rhythm bring you into the flow state. Pranayama sets up the dynamic Vinyasa flow ending in a juicy Savasana. Pilgrim Flow is a tonic of Chaturangas and Gratitude. Great for beginners and perfect for all levels. Arrive well hydrated and be sure to come prepared for a post-inferno shower in our rain garden. This express class is a 45 minute spicy hot flow.
